Manna is a quiet place for Scripture and prayer. This policy explains, in plain words, what the app and this website collect — and what they deliberately do not.
Saved verses, highlights, chapter bookmarks, reading plans, your chosen translation and text size, and your daily-verse position are stored only in your device's local storage. Deleting the app erases all of it.
Circles are shared by design. When you create or join a Circle we store on our server:
Circle posts are visible only to members of that Circle. We do not sell, rent or share this data with anyone, and we do not build profiles or use analytics trackers.
Optional supporter subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. We store only an anonymous record that your installation holds an active subscription, so it can be restored on a new device via Google Play.
Manna requests only the permissions it needs to function — for example, sharing an invite or a verse uses your device's standard share sheet. Manna does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or location.
Manna is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
You can erase everything stored on your device by uninstalling the app. To remove your Circle posts, dissolve the Circle from within the app, or contact us and we will delete them. The step-by-step options are set out on our Data Deletion page.
